The representatives of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate held a meeting on 28 September 2022 with the representatives of Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority – HAEA, in line with the bilateral agreement signed in 2015.

Thanks to the initiative of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate, the multilateral meeting with the representatives of the regulatory bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro was held yesterday.

The delegation of the Republic of Serbia participated in this year’s Scientific Forum with the theme Rays of Hope: Cancer Care for All. This two-day forum, on the sidelines of the 66th General Conference was opened by the IAEA Director General, Rafael Mariano Grossi.

On behalf of the Republic of Serbia, today at the General Conference, H.E. Zarko Obradovic, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Serbia and Head of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna, gave the Statement.

The exhibition on the life and work of one of the greatest Serbian scientists Nikola Tesla, will be organized in the exhibition area in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) headquarters throughout all five days of the General Conference.
