The Directorate issues, suspends and revokes authorizations for the perofomance of radiation practices and nuclear activities, as well as the approvals to perform radiation protection duties.
The Directorate also issues permits for the trade of radiation sources and transport of dangerous goods class 7 ADR/RID/ADN (radioactive material).
The Directorate establishes and maintains the registry of data relevant for radiation protection and radiation and nuclear safety.
The Directorate keeps records of the facilities, radiation sources and radioactive waste, as well as other data relevant for radiation protection and radiation and nuclear safety and security.
