The Director of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate is Mr. Sladjan Velinov, MSc(Econ).
The Director acts on behalf of and represents the Directorate, manages the operations in the Directorate, proposes legal acts passed by the Board, executes the decisions of the Board, takes due care of the lawfulness and assumes accountability for the use and allocation of finances and assets of the Directorate, passes the rulebook on internal organization and systematization of work positions, decides on the rights, duties and responsibilities of the staff, passes administrative acts in the remit of the Directorate, brings decisions in the second-instance administrative proceedings and performs other functions established by law and the Statute.
