The Legal, Financial, General and Human Resources and International Cooperation Sectors carry out the following tasks:
In the Department for Legal and International Cooperation:
- preparation of legal acts of the Directorate;
preparation of by-laws for implementation of the Law governing radiation and nuclear safety and security; - the publicity of the work of the Directorate and the provision of information to the Commissioner for information of public importance;
- carrying out appropriate procedures and procedures;
cooperating with other state bodies and organizations and drafting opinions on legal acts; - preparation of bases for treaties, agreements and protocols regarding implementation of cooperation with UN and EU organizations and agencies in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;
- preparation of elements for accession and implementation of international conventions in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;
- taking measures to protect classified information;
providing users with immediate access to classified information; - issuing copies of a document containing classified information;
- records of users of classified information;
In the Department for International Cooperation and Project Management:
- coordination of the cooperation of the Republic of Serbia with the IAEA, other international organizations and bodies;
- coordination of the process of programming, preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Technical Cooperation Program of the Republic of Serbia with the IAEA;
- coordination of the process of accession to international legal instruments and arrangements in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;
- monitoring the implementation of projects funded by EU pre-accession funds;
- participating in the preparation and implementation of the Directorate’s projects in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;
- cooperation with other state bodies;
- European integration in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;
- preparations for the process of integration of the Republic of Serbia into the European Union;
co-operation with the ministry responsible for European integration and other state bodies and international organizations and bodies; - harmonization of national legislation with European legislation in the field of radiation protection and nuclear safety and management of radioactive waste;
In the Department of Financial, General and Human Resources:
- preparation of the financial plan proposal of the Directorate;
- preparation of plans and reports on implementation of the budget of the Directorate;
- billing and tracking of collection of claims of the Directorate;
- public procurement;
- human resources, information and general affairs;
the tasks of control and maintenance of the quality level of the information system and IT services and maintenance of the database; - preparation and exchange of data with relevant security structures in the Republic of Serbia.
