Vienna, 25 March 2026 – The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) held the inaugural meeting of the points of contact (POCs) whose designation is set out under Article 7.4 of the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism (ICSANT) to strengthen international cooperation, exchange implementation practices, and enhance information-sharing.

The above Convention is closely connected with the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (CPPNM) and its 2005 Amendment.
