During the Tenth Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on Nuclear Safety (CNS), held in Vienna from 13 to 24 April 2026, the delegation of the Republic of Serbia was led by His Excellency Ambassador Zarko Obradovic, Head of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna.
The Serbian delegation included members of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna, representatives of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM), the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Ministry of Mining and Energy, as well as the “Nuclear Facilities of Serbia” (NOS).
On 14 April, the delegation of the Republic of Serbia presented its Third National Report under the Convention on Nuclear Safety (CNS) and responded to questions from other contracting parties, and thus fulfilled its obligations under the Convention.
By participating in this meeting, the Republic of Serbia has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the highest standards in the field of nuclear safety, as well as its dedication to continued international cooperation and transparency in fulfilling the obligations arising from the CNS.
