The representatives from the Directorate are taking part in the regular fall plenary meeting (14-16 October 2019) of WENRA – West European Nuclear Regulators Association – the organization that effectively gathers all heads of the national nuclear safety authorities of Western Europe with the increasing presence of other countries worldwide. This is a key organization for harmonizing European and global regulatory decisions and guidelines serving to methodize nuclear safety.

One of the items on the agenda is the establishment of the activities following the adoption of the Association Strategy, together with the number of technical and legal issues requiring harmonization or joint decision-making process.
