The representatives of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate are presenting their professional papers at the three-day Symposium of the Radiation Protection Society of Serbia and Montenegro, which started in Divcibare yesterday. Our representatives are to present their papers on the following topics:

– Regulatory framework at symposiums of radiation protection society

– The Law on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security – new legal framework

– National radiation protection and nuclear safety strategy – priorities and challenges

– System of authorization issuance according to the Law on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security

– Floor variations of indoor radon concentration in residential buildings

During the presentation of biennial report, the representatives of the Radiation Protection Society of Serbia and Montenegro particularly emphasised the participation of its members in the consulations with Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security. Special attention was attributed to the public hearing and presentation of the draft Law on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security, held on 19 November last year, as well as the consulatative meeting with the Directorate on the Rulebook regulating the control of radioactivity during import, export and transit of goods, held on 02 September this year.
