Interregional projects are divided into the following categories: transregional, global, capacity building projects and joint activities with an international entity.<\/p>\n<p>The IAEA member states are grouped for administrative reasons, so technical assistance and cooperation projects take place in four regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Transregional projects address development challenges that involve countries from more than one region, but not necessarily in all regions.<\/p>\n<p>Global standard-setting projects provide a framework for equal participation by Member States globally. Projects may include the development of guidelines, curricula, teaching materials and best practice documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The capacity-building projects of developing countries support applicants from developing countries to participate in conferences, seminars and workshops approved under the IAEA Master Programs, thus promoting networking and knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n<p>Joint technical cooperation activities with an international entity are formalized through cooperation agreements and are also considered as interregional projects.<\/p>\n<p>List of inter-regional projects for the period 2018-2019. years in which the Republic of Serbia participates:<\/p>\n<p>1. INT \/ 0\/094 &#8211; Utilizing the Sustainable Development Goals to Integrate Nuclear Science and Technology in Member States&#8217; Attainment of their National Development Plans<br \/>\n3. INT \/ 0\/095 &#8211; Supporting Member States in the Human Capacity Building Related to the Nuclear Science and Technology and Quality Management of the Technical Cooperation Program<br \/>\n4. INT \/ 0\/096 &#8211; Establishing and Enhancing National Legal Frameworks for the Safe, Secure and Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy and Ionizing Radiation<br \/>\n5. INT \/ 5\/154 &#8211; Improving Food Safety Through the Creation of an Interregional Network that Produces Reliable Scientific Data Using Nuclear and Isotopic Techniques<br \/>\n6. INT \/ 5\/155 &#8211; Sharing Knowledge on Sterile Insect and Related Techniques for Integrated Area-Wide Management of Insect Pests and Human Disease Vectors<br \/>\n7. INT \/ 6\/059 &#8211; Supporting Member States to Increase Access to Affordable, Equitable, Effective, and Sustainable Radiation Medicine Services within a Comprehensive Cancer Control System<br \/>\n8. INT \/ 6\/062 &#8211; Strengthening Capacity for Cervical Cancer Control through Improvement of Diagnosis and Treatment<br \/>\n9. INT \/ 9\/182 &#8211; Sustaining Cradle-to-Grave Control of Radioactive Sources<br \/>\n10. INT \/ 9\/183 &#8211; Overcoming the Barriers to the Implementation of Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation Projects<br \/>\n11.
