<strong>Department for Radiation and Nuclear Activity Control<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Radiation Activities in Medicine performs the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares draft strategies and action plans for their implementation in accordance with the Law;<br \/>\nPrepare draft regulations issued by the Government in accordance with the Law;<\/li>\n<li>Prepares ordinances and other regulations and instructions in accordance with the Law;<\/li>\n<li>Reviews requests and documentation for issuance, suspension or revocation of approvals, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine;<\/li>\n<li>Conducts assessment of fulfillment of prescribed conditions for issuance of authorizations, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine;<\/li>\n<li>Providing necessary information during the process of issuing approvals, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of necessary documentation for issuance of authorizations, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine;<\/li>\n<li>Keeping registers and records of issued authorizations, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine and other data of importance for radiation and nuclear safety and security;<\/li>\n<li>Exercise control of the fulfillment of the conditions on the basis of which the authorizations, authorizations and other acts for radiation activities in medicine were issued;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of instructions and procedures for radiation activities in medicine;<\/li>\n<li>Other business in accordance with the Law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Department of Nuclear Activities and Radiation Services in Industry, Research and Transport<\/strong> performs the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare draft strategies and action plans for their implementation in accordance with the Law;<br \/>\nPrepare draft regulations issued by the Government in accordance with the Law;<\/li>\n<li>Prepares ordinances and other regulations and instructions in accordance with the Law;<\/li>\n<li>Review the requirements and documentation for the issuance, suspension or revocation of approvals, authorizations and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of Class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive materials) dangerous goods;<\/li>\n<li>Performs assessment of the fulfillment of the prescribed conditions for the issuance of licenses, authorizations and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of Class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive materials) dangerous goods;<br \/>\nProvides necessary information during the process of approval, authorization and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of Class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive materials) dangerous goods;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of necessary documentation for issuance of approvals, authorizations and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of Class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive materials) dangerous goods;<\/li>\n<li>Keeps registers and records of issued licenses, authorizations and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of dangerous goods of class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive substances) and other data relevant for radiation and nuclear safety and security;<\/li>\n<li>Exercise control over the fulfillment of the conditions on the basis of which the authorizations, authorizations and other acts for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, transport of radiation sources and transport of dangerous goods of class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive substances) have been issued;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of instructions and procedures for nuclear activities and radiation activities in industry, research, radiation sources and the transport of Class 7 ADR \/ RID \/ ADN (radioactive materials) dangerous goods;<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and implements, in cooperation with the ministries and services competent for foreign affairs, defense, internal affairs, economy and customs, a control system for the import and export of nuclear and other radioactive material, radiation sources, equipment, special equipment and non-nuclear material, information and technology to fulfill the international obligations of the Republic of Serbia;<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains a system for the calculation and control of nuclear materials;<\/li>\n<li>Performs radiation and nuclear safety tasks, prescribes safety requirements for nuclear and radioactive materials and the facilities in which they are used, including measures to prevent, detect and respond to tampering and malicious activities involving such material or facilities;<\/li>\n<li>Other affairs in accordance with the Law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the <strong>Population Exposure Control Department<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Department for Monitoring and Control of Radioactivity and Emergency Response<\/strong> performs the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare draft strategies and action plans for their implementation in accordance with the Law;<br \/>\nPrepare draft regulations issued by the Government in accordance with the Law;<\/li>\n<li>Prepares ordinances and other regulations and instructions in accordance with the Law;<br \/>\nReview requests and documentation for issuance, suspension or revocation of authorizations and other acts for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response;<\/li>\n<li>Performs assessment of the fulfillment of the prescribed conditions for the issuance of authorizations and other acts for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response;<\/li>\n<li>Provides necessary information during the authorization process and other radioactivity monitoring and control acts and emergency response;<br \/>\nPrepares necessary documentation for issuance of authorizations and other acts for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response;<\/li>\n<li>Keeps registers and records of issued authorizations and other acts for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response, levels of radioactivity in the environment and other data of importance for radiation and nuclear safety and security;<\/li>\n<li>Exercise control over the fulfillment of the conditions on the basis of which authorizations and other acts for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response have been issued;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of instructions and procedures for monitoring and control of radioactivity and emergency response;<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and monitors the implementation of the Environmental Radioactivity Monitoring Program, monitors the level of radioactivity, changes, evaluates its impact on the population and the environment, gives instructions on the implementation of appropriate measures, monitors their implementation and prepares an annual report on the level of exposure of the population to ionizing radiation in the Republic Serbia;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare proposals for the Nuclear or Radiological Emergency Plan;<\/li>\n<li>Co-operates with other relevant institutions of the Republic of Serbia in establishing and maintaining the Nuclear and Radiological Emergency Plan in accordance with the National Emergency Plan;<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the implementation of the Nuclear and Radiological Emergency Plan;<\/li>\n<li>Monitors the work and analyzes data from the system of timely notification of an accident;<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the preparation and implementation of the Directorate&#8217;s projects in the field of radiation and nuclear safety and security;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with relevant international organizations regarding the monitoring and control of
